A full-screen Pomodoro timer in the terminal. Pick a split, run several focus rounds with breaks between them, and get a summary of what you actually focused on.
What it does
- Full-screen Bubble Tea interface with a live progress bar and colours that respect your terminal palette.
- Real Pomodoro rhythm: several focus rounds, a short break after each, and a longer break after the last.
- Pause, resume and skip phases without restarting the session.
- Wall-clock countdown, so it stays accurate across a suspend.
- Today’s total on the split picker and under the progress bar, updating as rounds finish.
toki --statsandtoki --historyprint reports and exit, so they pipe like--list.- Configurable splits via
~/.config/toki/config.yaml(cyclesandlong_breakare optional). - A chime on phase completion — ship your own
sound.wav/sound.mp3or delete it to go silent. - No account, no network, no telemetry.
Why
A timer shouldn’t need a browser tab, an account, or a subscription. The record it does keep is a plain text file you can read and delete: one JSON line per finished split in ~/.config/toki/sessions.jsonl, pruned to three months. Nothing about what you worked on is stored, only that a split named long ran.
